I already have the exact parts you are talking about. I assume there is no problem wiring the 6V bulb to the 12V power from the power supply? Thanks for your help.

: No, the answer is NOT obvious, so don't feel bad about asking!

: I used the following parts from Happ, (although a Radio Shack alternative would work too):
: - Mini lamp socket for reflector with metal mounting bracket, part# 91-1224-00
: - Mini lamps, part# 91-1219-00

: The lamps have two prongs on them. There's no polarity, so it doesn't matter which prong you use as the "hot" and which one you use as the "ground".

: I spliced up a power supply from an AT power supply. On a PC power supply red=5v, yellow=12v, and the two blacks=ground. So I spliced up one of the yellow wires and one of the black wires. Viola!
