The problem with banning is virtually everyone on that ISP will be banned. Another prob IP hopping is too easy... all I have to do is dial a different number into my ISP, or use the school's internet, or go to a freind with another IP, or use trials, or Proxies, or, or, or..........
IP logging would help in some instances, though not much, mainly with name changes to find out who is really posting. I think it'd a good thing overall.
