Competition pushbutton - Convex face. Most people do not prefer these for their cabinets.
Ultimate pushbutton - Concave face. The micro switch is mounted vertically. The popular opinion is that these are less durable than the horizontal pushbutton
Horizontal pushbutton - Concave face. This is perhaps the most popular type of microswitch pushbutton used. I have these in my MAME cab, and so do most of the projects listed on this website.
