I'm sure if you cracked open pretty much any of these famicom clones you'd have pretty much the same results. It's a very cheap pad, but great for hacking.

: : : : Yes that's right. I ripped mine open and the guts of the controls are just like the inside of any other game pad. I don't have a continuity tester right now so I'm not sure if there is just 1 ground or not. But I'm working on making some holes in the back of my 1-player standalone controls for the power supply and cartridge slot and adding this padhack to the case. Nintendo with arcade controls! Will post pix when I get it done.
