Arcadeos errors -- Bad command or filename

I've got Arcadeos and Mame running on my dos machine. I can play all my roms and the sound works, but everytime I hit esc to exit a game I get the error: 'Bad command or file name' scrolling down the screen. I have to reboot everytime I exit a game.

Also, every once in a while the screen goes black and says Parity check. Again I have to reboot. Is this being caused by my Ke72?
