I'm looking for some input from you experienced folks before I order up my controls. :-)
1) I need a 2 way joystick for Defender, but I am not sure what I should order...any suggestions? Happs has a 2way, but it looks like a 4-way.
2) What are your recommendations for a good, all around joystick?
3) Will I have problems using an 8 way joystick for games that were originally designed to use a 4 way? For example, if I play Gyruss with an 8-way, will it be hard to control Pac Man? I think the newer MAME can make an 8-way work on a 4-way game. Has anyone tried this?
4) How do I figure out what games used 4 way and waht used 8-way?
5) Anyone try that Happs Classic Redball Stick on Bob's site? How is it?
Thanks for the help. I am designing interchangeable panels and obviously want to make as few as possible...and trust me, any suggestions you have will help!
