: (btw, I don't care to much if I damage the insides as it will be a mame conversion. But the board is going to the mame team, and I would like to play it for a week before, but not necessary.

A couple hints/tricks about moving cabinets at odd angles....

1) Take some tools with you!

2) Remove the monitor if you are going to ship the game in a 'non-standing' position. This is the most delicate part of the whole cabinet, and you dont want it tipped at odd angles and being vibrated to death during a 2hr trip. Place it in the vehicle seperately.

3) Remove the control panel. Once that is off, you basically have a box that can be layed on any side.

4) Remove the bezel and marquee -IF- they are made of glass. Flexing of the cabinet during the move may 'pop' them. If they are plexi, no worries.

5) Be sure to clean out anything inside the cabinet that may get bounced around into the circuitry during rotation or travel. Leftover spilled coins come to mind...

As for the suburban, if -this- is what you are getting...

Then you should be able to lay it down with the back seat down/out and have plenty of room, provided you dont bring 3 friends to help you move it. :)

A general rule of thumb for cabinet size, it that are rarely over 6 feet tall, and can usually be broken down into parts that will fit through any 30" doorway.
