I agree with Mark sounds like Taito's Chase HQ. I remember one of the early stages you could take a detour off the city highway and you ran your black Porsche on a dirt road knocking down small trees that hit your car and flew over the back. It seemed so "real". :-)

: I remember playing a game in the very early 90s or very late 80s in the arcade. Looked 3D but was scaled 3D sprites I believe. It had a siren on the top of the game and your mission was to run a targeted car off the road. It should what the car looked like (color, etc.) and then you had to continuously smash into the car a number of times to run it off the road. It had great feel and it had some force feedback on the steering wheel. Thanks for any info! (And no it wasn't 'APB' - it wasn't a top down game).
