Video card for arcade monitor.

Ok -
I've been using a couple different video cards with my arcade monitor (manual switchable 15kHz and 24kHz, but I'm running in 15 almost all the time). So far advanced mame seems to be the best for working with the most resolutions, but it loads slow and I like the arcadeos/regular mame configuration better.

Is there a card that work with an arcade monitor that handles all (or at least almost all) the video modes? ATI is what seems to be recommended but I was curious if anyone has actually found anything better, maybe certain ATI cards are better than others?

P.S.
If anyone happens to get a Sega Asto City 29" outside of Japan - I found a fellow nice enough to send me the instrucions for the monitor with some english notation. Helped me out a TON. If you need it just email me. (sandor(at)sandor(dot)net)
