If anyone is building dual 4-way controller sticks because I already have a HotRod but it doesn't play PacMan or Q-bert well at all. Thanks!
: : : Has anyone tried putting on a 'template' under the joystick somehow that will make the 8way - 4way - 2wayH - 2wayV that can be changed without opening the cabinet? I was considering having a friend to cut some steel plates with the movable areas, then cut them inhalf so I can slide them in on the sides and remove them. I just cant think of a nice way to attach them that would look good.
: : Yeah, the template would be the best idea. I suggested some hard rubber or plastic 'U' shaped ones which you could bend into the right position then just prise out when you wanted 8 way. Sounds simple so cant see why it isn't used.
