Ok, I am in the final (about to bid) on a cabinet. I was hoping to keep the original monitor for size/looks and it's already there.
Trouble. I was planning on not having a dedicated PC running it. I was going to use my current machine and get a video card with a TV out (since I can turn that on and off). But now I'm reading that you actually want a card with TV out so that it can handle the refresh rates, and then get the signal from the VGA cable (which, btw, I have a VGA-rgb cable just around... hehe I never thought I would have a use for that old thing).
Am I right? is there no easy way to convert the s-video out to rgbs?
If I get an AB switch, is there any safe ways to switch between my computer and the other machine?
last trouble. I really wanted to add kaillera support to my cabinet. But since I will need a front end, this wont be possible right?
