Well, I've been working prety solidly on my cab for a week now, and all is going smoothly apart from a couple of strange things relating to the monitor. The first is a question of identification. The monitor in question is a 28" Hantarex model. The label on the back claims that it is a MTC9000, yet the service manual for the MTC9000 claims that this model only comes in up to 20" sizes. The 9110 however, comes in 25 and 28 inch models and looks more like what I have. Any ideas as to what goes on here? Oddness abounds. Secondly.. I have now persuaded my PC to talk to the monitor, and all is hunkydory apart from the fact that picture is a)rather blue and b)rather dark. I know all the colour signals are present, because I can see all the colours in the picture. Theyre just not very good. I know the monitor itself is fine because my R-type 2 board looks absolutely spiffing on it. Again, strangeness. Ayone care to explain, or suggest remedies?
