DOS Mame not being developed? So what. DOS is just about completely dead anyway. Time to face facts and start pointin' and clickin' (Heh).
As long as there are command line options so I can use my own front end I'm fine with it.
Having used both DOS and Windows for many years, Windows is a heck of a lot easier to use programs without constant tweaking and fiddling to get them to work, as in DOS. Of course Windows has its own problems, but with Direct X etc etc things tend to work "out of the box".
Since Windows nowadays is faster and easier than DOS, why would anyone want to stick with DOS? Just scared to let go of the past? Heh :)
