i picked up a free cab , a fighting game.
-two j/sticks
3 buttons each plus player one and two buttons.

i gutted my cab and used the original wiring harness from the controls. i made a KEYBOARD ENCODER out of the chip in a keyboard.it plugs into the ps/2 on my laptop. (if you want pics e-mail me) the only parts that i have bought so far have been a strip for connecting the wires that i soldered to my encoder and the control harness.

look for stuff people are throwing out. i went to a electronics teacher at my old h/school and got a ton of old mouses and keyboards.
value city and salvation army thrift shops work good.

but the thing that has helped the most has been ----------RESEARCH---------
