almost ready to make the standalone dos drive.
I copied all my emu stuff onto a new 4 gig hd last night, with 2 2gig partitions (dos limited?)
with dos, arcadeos, raine, and callus on one, and mame on the other (d:).
ok .. now I set arcadeos to run in the autoexec.bat file and it starts up as it should, but....
from inside arcadeos :
1: the Mame.cfg file is intermittently not found upon running a game .. and then autogenerated (have
to redo my settings) .. 4 times now .. :( .. it seems ok now that I have set the mame.cfg file to read only
but this isnt the proper solution in my eyes.
2: Raine refuses to show any games, just directories (I have unknowns set on) .. nothing I try works. :( ..
also raine repeatedly crashed when running games from the dos prompt until I ran memmaker, but this seems ok now.
I have lost count how many times I have played with the .app and .cfg files, scanning them for oversights on my
behalf .. but no luck.
any ideas ?
