The shaft on these might actually be a little too long to replace those short pac man sticks, but I bought some Wico style sticks from Video Connection, the 4 way has a red handle and everything http://www.videoconnect.com/CONV.HTM1 . I'll post a pic of it later tonight when I get home from work (it's not mounted yet though.)
The joysticks are available in leaf or microswitch, 4 or 8, the 4 way has the classic red handle, the 8 ways I bought had blue. They cost 11 bucks thier web page says 10, but according to the person I called there, the web page was about a year old.

: Anyone know of a good wico style round knobbed joystick, preferably microswitch, with a long enough shaft to mount comfortably through a 3/4" cp with little routing? I'm looking for something with the look and feel of the pacman controller, but unfortunately I don't see how to mount the happs ms pacman replacement controller without cutting a large hole in my cp and dropping the whole thing in through the top, something I'd like to avoid given that my cp is made of finished hardwood.
