The 720 controller is a spinner... just built a little different than most :) (no return to center) The bent handle and chain drive makes it easer to contol the exact degree angles in the game.

As for sinistar... It looks like an ordinaly Wico Ball-Top joystick... except, that the underside has optical sensors instead of switches. The return to center mechanism is a
rubber " X " with a hole in the center for the shaft... and each leg hooks to the outer post of the joystick.

The combination of the Short stick (for better leverage), and the extra resistence creates the better control. (fighting 4 rubber-legs instead of 1 or 2 springs found in most analouge controllers)
