i have the arcade layout with encoder and hacked the madcatz dreampad (dc layout from butler2001).
i had to rewire the pc to be on the same matrix like dc but i can use one or the other...let me explain
if the dc controller is pluged in(doesnt have to be on) and i play pc game, it wont see any buttons being pressed.
if i have the buttons plugged into the encoder while playing dc, the dreamcast acts like all the buttons are being press like there is a ground crossed somewhere but it is all the same layout?
