Actually the cost would still be cheaper than an F355 type cab (which I've seen costing upwards to 15K).

Lets see (approximatly):
3 PS2s = $900
3 GT3s = $177
3 D9200 Monitors = $1500
Total = $2577

Plus you still have to build the cabinet from scratch or buy a cheap sit down "Hard Driving" for $200 and rip it apart.

So lets say just over $3K maybe. Still a pretty good deal to me (although I don't have the time or money).

Actually if there was a way to the the DC F355 Challenge to work like this, I would definatly consider building the cab. Unfortunally the only linking of DC F355 is for that is Head to Head play.

So has someone actually confirmed you can link 3 views of the "same car" via 3 PS2? Or is it just 3 players networked together in the same game?

: I just read something at dailyradar.com that sounds very cool, but expensive. Gran Turismo 3 allows you to link 3 PS2s together for network racing. However, the coolest thing is that you can link 3 PS2s together and have each render a different via, ala F355. You would have one monitor for the front view, one for the left side view, and one for the right side view. This would be the ultimate racing cabinet!! Its too bad you would need to buy 3 PS2s, 3 TVs, and possibly 3 copies of GT3. That's too damn expensive.
