For the various controller options, there are still four zero's you can experiment with. You could probably try them in a span of five minutes.

Try moving the scan code for Coin A (4) as to different locations:

Default:
-remapbut 6BUTTON 1 2 5 0 0 0 3 4
Test 1:
-remapbut 6BUTTON 1 2 5 4 0 0 3 0
Test 2:
-remapbut 6BUTTON 1 2 5 0 4 0 3 0
Test 3:
-remapbut 6BUTTON 1 2 5 0 0 4 3 0
etc, etc, etc...

You might be able to narrow down the possibilites. (Also, I used 6BUTTON in this example. I don't know which controller you need to alter for your tests.)

Good luck.

: Just tried this after reading, and all is well if you use exclusivley keyb1 or 2,
: .. but the default keys stay the same. ie : if you use the -snespad1 and 2 options,
: the snes pads will work the joy/buttons, but the coin / start is still mapped to f1-f2, f3-f4
: Mine is mapped ala Mame : 1-2, 3-4.

: I suppose I was hoping to change the default coin keys : f3 and f4 , to 3 and 4 .. while
: still being able to use the snespads as joystick inputs.

:
: hmm .. I may have to do some rethinking on this idea.

:
: Can anyone get MBduo / Slammasters going in Mame ?

: I can get MBDuo going , but with huge glitches.
