I bought a Taito Egret from Arcadestuff on E-bay. I've had pretty good luck with it. The monitor can be converted from standard to medium res. Using the Trident Blade 3d I got Windows to work in both res.

The control panel is tight. The one you are looking at looks mine. The colorful part around the joysticks and buttons was actually a metal plate on mine. I removed it and bought a piece of Lexan (I think that was it. Kinda like plexi but much stronger and it won't crack). I drilled new holes and painted the back side. Then placed it back in the control panbel.

I added a trackball and a spinner. It was tight but doable. I have two of the Ikari (twist) jooysticks and 6 buttons / player.

It doesn't look like a tradional arcade cabinet. I was more interested in the playing options and monitor. I was going to build one from scratch but when I figure out the monitor costs, wood, time, etc, I figured this was a better deal. A 29" monitor is amazing, and makes the vert games much better.

BTW, I use DOS, ArcadeOS, and VsyncMame.
