Cap kits generally fix picture instability (scrolling/warping), and helps brighten colors overall.
The problem with this monitor could be fixed by adjusting the RGB pots. But if the current owner hasn't done this, maybe it is something else.

: I'm looking to buy a cabinet, and I found one with a monitor that the owner says "is too red." Is this something that a cap kit might fix, or a more serious problem?
