I recently hacked a sidewinder for an arcade controller. When I finally finished and plugged it in to the game port to test, nothing happened. I said well hell I just wasted my time. Then I plugged another sidewinder in the the port and daisy-chained my hacked sidewinder in to that one. When I did that it detected and tested out perfectly as joystick 2. Does anybod know a reason why my hacked sidewinder can't stand alone as joystick 1?
