: I just saw it from a link from Capcom's site. It looks awesome! Its about a half hour away from my house and was wondering if they have any good games. Thanks.

I've been to the one in San Jose (capitol expw). It's pretty cool. The only real downside was that a lot of the freeplay machines had malfunctioning or sticky/unresponsive controls. This Nickel City had a few "classic" games. Paperboy, dig dug, mario bros, zaxxon, simpsons, galaga (i think it was galaga--some old vertical shooter anyway), and I think there were a few other games from the 80s on freeplay too. Oh, also TMNT, wwf superstars, slammasters (not a classic but one of my favs...) I _think_ they had frogger on freeplay too.

Actually some games that were free weren't exactly on "freeplay". You have to press a button to insert a coin/get a free credit. Sometimes (some games, I mean) it's the start button that gives credits and you press a fire/attack button to start. Other games, there's an extra button installed near the coin chutes that gives you credits. Sometimes though, a machine will have that extra button but will actually work like the other machines (start=credit, attack 1=start)... Not a big deal, except when a players controls don't work and has 100 lives due to all the coins mistaken "inserted" by people and you can't really play that game even using the other working controls because the uncontrollable character just won't die!

Well, it's still a pretty fun place... I just wish they had pinball.
