Decent image quality at 800x600. Very large screen curvature along one axis though, so if curved screens annoy you, forget it. Also, I don't know how well they'd handle tweaked VGA modes, since they were designed for 640x480 through 800x600. So, I'd check the archived specs at the Gateway site unless you don't plan to run everything at native resolutions. Like I said, though, decent image quality and a very impressively huge picture.
