My main problem is as follows: I have MAME and some other console emulators set up (ZSNES, RockNES, KGen98, and Z26). Sometimes (I haven't figured out the exact pattern) when I am using the other emulators (besides MAME), when I get back to MAME all my default settings are gone. The individual game settings stay, but the default options revert back to their initial values. Upon furthur inspection, the cause of the problem is that my MAME.CFG file is gone. Something in ArcadeOS is deleting it. I have it backed up now, so I can easily copy it back, but it involves exiting arcadeos and using the keyboard. The only thing that is acting strange that might be causing it is when I exit KGen98, I get a page fault. I still fail to see how that would delete my mame.cfg.
In addition, I occasionally lose some individual game settings. Again, I can't nail it down to a pattern.
When I get some time, I plan on going through the source code and see if I can see anything obvious (or not so obvious).
