Well, I received it yesterday, and at first I thought my cat would have more fun with it than me (she loves boxes!), but after some screwing around, I was able to get it to work. As I had feared, the spinner does not use a mouse axis, but in Mame 32, I was able to get it to work in Arkanoid 2, Tron, Discs of Tron, Sprint, Supersprint, and Tempest (kicks ass!). The stick seems a bit fruity, but the spinner is actually really good, and has a nice coast to it. I couldn't get Warlords to work.
I was unable to get the spinner to work with Atari Arcade classics, so perhaps the previously mentioned two spinner design is the only real solution here. Still, not bad for $30. What's funny is that this stick was actually meant for 3-d shooters.
