By dimple-style spinner, I assume you are talking about the knob and how it has the dimple for your finger?

I don't remember any games that used that actually. The reason it is used on reprodution spinners is because no other authentic knob exists unless you buy NOS.

: Looking over the Net, I'm glad to see all the arcade info available. Some of my earliest memories of youth are of going to the local arcade in the early 80s, back when it wasn't just all fighting games but had a little of everything, including lots of odd physical games not just video ones--like the big pool of water with rather large model submarines you could drive around a miniature harbor and sometimes make splash people. It was a diverse and fun place--still open, but nowadays it's all fighting games and a single lonely skee ball unit.

: Anyway, my spinner question. Which game or games used the dimple-style spinner? I'd thought I remembered playing a cocktail Arkanoid back in the late 80s that had that type of spinner, but every image I see of Arkanoid cabs has a non-dimpled spinner. So, which games used the dimpled spinners? Just curious. Thanks. :-)
