If you are using DOS, this program will increase your keyboard buffer to 160 chrs instead of the standard 16. Let me know if this helps.

Someone suggested using keyboard.sys, but I don't think that is what you need. That is used to load code pages - which isn't your problem. The beeping is from the buffer being full.
