Try adjusting the "key repeat" settings in your BIOS or windows control panel. Sometimes, these can affect the hotrod.
Also, try a different keyboard through the pass through . It is known that some keyboards do not like the hotrod.
Win98SE has some problems with the hotrod. Try a different version of windows.
It could be a bad encoder board in the hotrod. If this is the case, e-mail hanahogame@aol.com for more info on how to replace it.
