Thanks, I will try smartdrv and see how it goes. On another note, the video problem I had by using shell= had nothing to do with that, so I am back to using shell=arcadeos.bat. I find this shaves a good 15 seconds off my boot time, and I only see windows for 3 seconds before it goes into ArcadeOS. Total boot time from power up is 60 seconds.
