Don't use the (~) modifier with most emulators!
The problem I had with my KE72 was forcing a case on the letters in my .cfg file. You can force a letter to be a case by using the (~) modifier, for example: IN02:[(~)A]
For some reason, emulators don't seem to like this! Taking out the (~) makes it work well. Using the This also explains why "player 1" worked and "player 2" didn't--"player 1" usually uses the arrow and ctrl/alt/shift keys, which have no case I'd also like to mention that even though the guys at Hagstrom had a hard time trying to understand the problem I was having, they tried and quickly offered a suggestion that turned out to be the solution. Even though their prices are higher than similar products, it's a great product with great support IMHO.
since they aren't letters, while "player 2" almost always uses some letter keys in the middle of the keyboard, where case seems to matter.
