That's what I'm trying to do, I don't know what the proper pins are though.. (e.g. which is ground, etc).
: I am wondering why you just done simple connect your outside switch to the proper pins on your motherboard? You will have to get the proper size jumper and connect your wires to it and then plug it into your motherboard. The manual for your motherboard should show where the power button pins are at. I hope you are using a momentary switch (only makes contact when held down).
