A few tips:
-Make sure there is enough room for the size monitor you want. If its a cab with a 19" monitor in it and you want to squeeze in a 25" one, then it might be tough.
-You may prefer the kind of cabs that have the control panel protruding out from the front of the cab.
One unique thing about maming a cab is that people use all different types of cabs. That's a good thing. I doubt you want your cab looking like everyone elses. So, if you think you can make it work then go for it. Half the fun is configuring it to make it YOUR cab.
