This will be the first that we build. A dual steering wheel, with a 4 way joystick, and standard coin, start, pause, esc, buttons. Now, would this just be in control panel style, or on a box of it's own that would sit out front of the machine. What are you looking for.

: If you're using 2 mouse ports, you don't need a trackball. As long as you can hook both steering wheels up to one mouse port (x and y axis) that should be enough. I would give it all the buttons that say the Hotrod Classic had (4 buttons per player, 1 and 2 player buttons, and buttons on the side of the panel). The key I think is to make the thing long and wide enough to give each player room to feel comfortable. If there was a way to make them separate panels (disjoint) but to still keep them on 1 mouse and keyboard port, that would be ideal. But I think as long as there is enough space and the steering wheels are nice heavy duty old arcade wheels that's good enough. I'm kind of partial to the old style Death Race type wheels myself.

: : Probably nice to have a trackball at the top middle with mouse buttons. Then you could have a switch in the back to switch between the wheels and the trackball. Best situation is you hook one steering wheel up to x-axis and one to y-axis. Since most of us have 2 mouse inputs you can use both steering wheels and the trackball all at the same time.

: : : So basically two steering wheels, you will do all the other buttons with the keyboard, or would it be nice to have the standard buttons, coinin start, and maybe a four way joystick in the center for menu selections ?

: : : : Would love a nice very long panel with 2 arcade style steering wheels.

: : : : : I just wanted to take a survey to see what kinds of things people feel are important to Arcade Control panels for a PC.
