Trying to set up a 'Mame Box' - it's running Win98, ArcadeOS & a variety of emulators. I have 4 PSX pads hooked up via the "ultra impact" - they appear as sidewinders to software.

At the moment, I'm using the example app files from the ArcadeOS website. I can't set a good 'sample' config for Mame in Arcadeos that eliminates the need for a keyboard - I want to remap all essential functions to the joypad so I don't need a keyboard/mouse combo.

The PSX has 10 buttons, it should be plenty.

In addition, ArcadeOS doesn't seem to launch Win32 emus correctly... Is this a known 'feature' that I won't be able to work around? It launches them, but it doesn't give them control of the screen - they just sit running in the background until I quit Arcadeos.

Some 'real world' app files for Arcadeos would be great to have a look at...
