Suggestions for posting projects to the example section

I have noticed a trend of unfinished cabinets or unfinished or incomplete web pages being submitted on the examples page. IMHO these should not be here. However this has been debated on this board here before and I don't want to rehash old arguements (I don't have to search the archives...I've been around that long :)heheh). The general consensus was that people could follow along with a project as it was being constructed. I would like to post my viewing habits of this website (it will make my suggestions a little clearer). When I come to this site (minimum once a day) I first read the news section and click on every new cabinet announced to see the work someone has done. If I find nothing of interest or find a web site that isn't done or has virtually no information other than "I just started my cabinet..it is going to be great" I close the page and move on. Then I come to the message board. I rarely go back to an example site unless I read a post from that person that includes a url (always include your url with your signature people:). I don't think my viewing habits are really that much different then most people on this board. So considering my own viewing habits I would like to suggest the following "recomendations" (I won't use the word RULES) for posting your cabinet to the example page.

1. Don't post to the page until your cabinet and your web page is complete. How can I view your fine craftsmanship and marvel at cabinet (every single cabinet I've seen is really cool) if I get a main web page screen that says under construction? Or a nicely done web page that has no cabinet information on it?

2. If you do post a "project in progress" type web page please post on the message board when you update your site. I don't have time to monitor everyone's website but really would like to see your work. So just mention briefly "hey I updated my site at..so and so url.." Then we can drop buy every so often. This would also save the time of those that are in the contruction process as well as they would not have to search a bazillion web pages that haven't been updated for the information they need.

Hey Saint... what is the possibility of making a seperate "work in progress" section of the examples page.. or maybe just changing the color of the link so say a completed project link is blue and a cabinet under construction is yellow or something:)... Just a thought... might be too much work with our nice new automated system:).

Sheeeesh... long post.. sorry for that and thanks for staying with me this long. Tell me what you think.

JimK.

(notice my cabinet is done but not in the examples yet:)
