I'm an Electrical Engineer in industrial plant. So we buy alot of stuff from industrial catalogs. So when I needed parts for my arcade cabinet I grabbed some catalogs and started looking... I found the Grainger catalog has some great parts.... Here is what I found handy:

12vdc relay.. with 10 amp contacts.... this is great for switching things on when your computer turns on (such as marquee, monitor, speakers etc)... part number 6c873 with socket 2a582. See my follow up to the post Powerup/Power down to see how I used this.

The levelers on my cabinet were destroyed. I found some great leg levelers... million times better than the ones at happ and cheaper... check out part number 5vm94. These worked excellent for me.

I also bought some terminal strips, DIN rail and a breaker from them because the engineer in me despises wire nuts :).... so I'm not going to fish out those numbers since most of you won't use that stuff.

I'm not don't work for Grainger or anything... Just a happy customer that found some great products that I hope will help you out.

Hope this helps,

JimK

oh yeah and they are online at www.grainger.com (I have a sales rep so don't bother much with online ordering)
