: : Just finished my new control panel layout and thought I would post a pic. This control panel is setup for Mame and for the Dreamcast. The Joystick and 7 buttons on the left work in Mame and also are the Digital Controls for Player 1 on my Dreamcast games, same goes for the layout on the right but it is for Player 2. Currently I havent drilled out the Mame control type buttons but that is only because I havent decided for sure where I am gonna put them. I have alot of room above the joys and buttons, maybe for a trackball (Dont Own) and a spinner (got a Fultra). Trying to take alittle time since a new CP made from solid finished oak is about $40 from my friends at Foley Custom Cabinets. Comments and suggestions are welcome. In the pic you also see how I have the standard DC controllers there available for action and my new coin door with lighted coin returns! I also have a small cheat sheet printed up while I get used to the new layout. I have all the control type buttons mapped to the far right Joystick for now, that is why I need the cheat sheet.

Tom,
Yes the dreamcast does work on the arcade controls. The pictures you see of the 4 standard DC controllers are there for 4 way NFL2K1 and stuff like that. The hacked Mad Catz Dreampads are under the control panel. I would take a picture of it but frankly, its a mess in there. I also have 2 of the Mad Catz guns inside the cab I plug in for House of the Dead 2.
