My computer has a BIOS setting that is titled something like "power failure restart." Basically, if you enable this feature, the computer turns on automatically when power is applied to the power supply (ie. you turn on your surge protector). This is how I plan to run mine once a get a cabinet, but its working fine like that right now sitting on my desktop.

: I have decided to boot into win 98 with the mame plus! theme and running arcadeos thru a dos box as opposed to boot straight to dos (too many memory and page fault errors). Every game works without a hitch, now here's my question. My computer doesn't have an on\off button which would allow me to keep the computer on and let me shut the power off from the surge protector and then boot the computer back up after restoring the power. ( I know there is a term for this particular type of power supply but the name escapes me ). Anyway, is there something I can do in the bios or windows config to allow me to do what I want.
: Sorry so long

: Thanks,

: Eric
