To be honest with you, I haven't hooked it up yet. I just got the chips in recently and burned a couple, and I've built the circuit to hook to the joysticks, but I haven't had a chance to hook everything up yet. I may get a chance this weekend.

I'll be hooking it up to a Happ Ultimate Joystick connected via a Hagstrom keyboard encoder. I used Male and Female quick-disconnect connectors on the circuit, so it shouldn't take me more than a couple of minutes to hook them up. I've still got to grab 5V from the power supply to run to the circuit, so once all that is done, I'll post an update here...

: How did the IC work before Beta 14. Do you feel it made 4-way games easier to control?

: How does the hardware version compare to B14 sofware version?

: What type of Joystick/Controller did you hook it up to?

: I found my hardware solution made Pac-man games easier. I have not tried the software MAME B14 version yet. No time. RLS.

: P.S I came up with sticky mode as more of a solution for real arcade joysticks. That is why I did it in hardware.
: It may not work as good on console style joysticks. As their switching may be not as touchy as arcade joysticks.
