Yes, there is. Hanaho makes a lot of money doing it. What I think would fuel it even more is if the game companies would give us more legal ROMS (even for a fee) to emulate.


: : i've found that i like building arcade controls as much as playing games.... since my wife and i are buying a new computer, i have a great urge to build a cabinet to hold the old one.... but what to do with it after it's finished. keeping it in the house is a non-starter. i could keep it out in the workshop for a while, but it's so dusty that isn't a permanent solution.

: : so this morning i came up with the idea of selling it. the question is, would i be able to find a buyer, and could i get enough for it to make it worth doing? what about doing several times?

: : assume good workmanship, a general purpose control panel with 2 sticks, a spinner, and buttons. the computer is a pentium 233mmx with a 15" trinitron.
