OK, I had the machine working except for the trackball...wico via OptiPac+...2 mice work ( serial main and ps2 secondary), but the trackball seems dead...I will check my wiring etc...
Here is the real prob...I want the vertical games to display better on the horizontal monitor...so I installed AMame. I copied the v and h settings to the mame cfg file...but there was no [VIDEO} area so I made one. Then I did the MV test and saved.
If I go to the folder and type mame "pacmanm" it plays and fits the monitor great ( a bit too tall...but better than it was )....but if I try to launch from AOS I get errors about bad video settings in mame.cfg.
When I exited the game after the command line the video went funny...
Do I have to change some settings in AOS to get AMame to work?
