Trackballs, mouse drivers, and sensitivity

: I can't figure out how to get the sensitivity on my Happ 3 1/2" trackball to work right. On games that require fast spinning (like Birdie King 2, for example), if I spin it very fast it almost seems to go slower, and occasionally it goes backwards. : I am using the CTMOUSE driver (under Pure DOS), because I couldn'd figure out how to get the Microsoft mouse driver to recognize a serial mouse. : What mouse driver is everyone using, and what sensitivity setting are you using in the mouse driver and in MAME? : Thanks for any help, : Chuck
