In my opinion, Pac-man does not play very well with the new "sticky" mode. I definitely think they should have left things as-is and added a command-line switch for this mode.

Or, the drivers for particular games should specify which mode is the default. For instance, Pac-man could continue to use "fast sticky" while the Qix driver could be modified to use "sticky" as the default mode.

They shouldn't have blindy changed modes like this without offering a selection mechanism.
