It is really just a cheaper way to go if you don't want to spend the cash on a key encoder (45 dollars for KE18), I didn't. However, it does seem to do the same thing that a encoder passthrough does, allows you to plug in two keyboards, one for controls, and one for a keyboard. Or two for controls to avoid ghosting. Thanks so much for you comments, they are really helping. What would you pay for something like this if you did not want to pay for the keyboard encoder? Would a tutorial be more beneficial, rather than trying to sell them.
