Are you going to be using a standard arcade monitor (I see you are now using a computer monitor)? If so happ sells bezels quite cheap (I got one for my 25" for $11) and they are cut quite easily, I used a razor blade and a straight edge. If not it might be best to just paint the out side of the monitor case black and get some tagboard to place around it.
