Oops, hit enter too soon. I use a Sound Blaster Live card in DOS with no trouble in MAME. I don't use ArcadeOS though. I doubt changing your soundcard will affect performance that much unless your CPU is really borderline. I wouldn't really consider changing if that is the only reason.


: : I am currently using an old SB AWE32 ISA, and am wondering how many people have PCI sound cards working in DOS. Is there that much of a performance increase? Can anyone recommend a good card to use with ArcadeOS and Mame? Thanks!
