I know its a tough market to break into, but if they do at least get something out this summer, its going to garner support of the entire linux/hacker/MAME community. The problem will be making the transition to the regular non-technical home gamer. Hopefullly the MP3 rip/store/play Jukebox, DVD player, and Digital Video Recording will be enough to get the average consumer.
