There is a hack way of getting most non-vga games to work on your box. What you have to do is power off your dreamcast, switch the vga box to tv mode, and turn on the dreamcast (you will see scambled video on your monitor). Once the scambled Sega logo goes away, you can hear the CD start loading, wait like a second, and then flip the VGA box switch to VGA mode.

You may have to do this several times to get the timing right. There is another method of unplugging the vga box, and pluging it back in during the cd boot process, but that is more likely to short out either your VGA box or the Dreamcast AV port.

Here is an example. The Dreamcast magazine demo cds won't boot on your arcade connected monitor. Switch the vga box over to tv mode, and let it boot all the way up. Normally you would be seeing the demo selection screen. Hit your A or red button to go into the first demo. As soon as you hear the CD loading the game, flip it over to VGA mode and wala!

: Well guys, I did it! I connected my Dreamcast to my arcade machine!! Thanks to everyone who helped especially Dave K. My last question that I'll bug you all with is this. I'm wondering if there is a site that lists all games compatible with the VGA Box, or even better a site that list games compatible with the VGA Box on a arcade monitor! I've already run across 9 games that will not run. Are there any sites with good info on the VGA box (getting it to work with certain games)? I hope I'm not straying off the arcade topic too much.
